Methodology
We use a robust, agile, three-phase transition program to identify your requirements and thoroughly understand your business, before designing and piloting the new workflows. We support your transition completely with local management and knowledge transfer, supported by highly skilled teams who are selected to work with you in our Indian base. The transition can be as short as a few weeks for simple tasks, or several months for more complex end-to-end services.
Phase 1: "Ready" Engagement, preparation, refinement
- This first phase takes place alongside the recruitment of appropriate staff in India, and becomes a learning and iterative improvement process for all parties. We undertake due diligence, and with your team, we review your processes in detail and design a range of potential solutions. During this phase a cumulative action register, driven by the onshore Transition Manager, ensures that detailed information is gathered, analyzed and used in testing workflows
Phase 2: "Set" Parallel production
- Live production continues at the client location, while studio staff are allocated real work-order data in the course of the normal production process, shadowing. KPIs are gathered to monitor the studio’s progress towards meeting the current levels of timeliness and accuracy of production. The in-house traffic staff will gradually ramp up the workload on the outsourced staff while constant feedback from the client will ensure that quality issues are tackled by the production management immediately.
Phase 3: "Go" Transition to live production
- The milestone of switching to live production means that the primary responsibility for creation and all agreed work processes is transferred to the Express KCS outsourced team, rather than the existing in-house department. The client’s remaining management team has full transparent view of the work progress through advanced online workflow management tools, including our own browser-based asset management system, StudioOnline
