Express KCS boosts data-hosting capacity in the US and UK

Express KCS, the world’s media backoffice, is moving to the next phase in resilient and hyper-responsive IT infrastructure for their growing client base in the US and UK. The result will be an improvement in terms of data transfer times for customer work, and even greater network availability and disaster recovery preparedness.

By the start of 2010, Express KCS will have boosted capacity at its UK datacenters and will begin the process of migrating all their existing UK customers over to the new servers. These will be used to support an array of outsourced media backoffice services such as design, image retouching and creative production for newspaper, magazine and agency clients. UK-based clients will benefit from increased throughput and faster files transfer times to Express KCS. The second phase of the expansion, in the second quarter of 2010, will extend Express KCS’s hosting capacity in its US data centers on the East and West Coasts and will play a pivotal role in both existing and new contract work.
